| We are an equity research firm based near Boston that provides an independent voice on more than 50 stocks across four dynamic sectors: internet, software, renewable energy, and education. As an integral part of our research process, we draw insights from a network of industry partners, comprised of people who evaluate the products provided by companies that we research. As a matter of principle, we refrain from investment banking, money management and personal investment in stocks in our research coverage. Battle Road Research was founded in October 2001 on three principles: independence, self-reliance and customer focus. Independence: We do not engage in investment banking for public or private companies. Neither do we publish company-commissioned reports. We do not invest in the stocks we research. Self-Reliance: While we speak with the management of many of the firms we research, we gather input from people who purchase the products and services provided by those companies. This helps us obtain a fresh perspective, and better identify future market trends. We are not bashful about expressing opinions based on our findings. Customer focus: Since we are not paid by the companies we research, we are able to devote our complete attention to our clients. We do not compete with our clients by offering money management services. |
